Journal Two

     Hello this is Chas from class. Some things you may want to know about me is that I live in Lewis Center Ohio and I'm currently holding down a job at Chick-Fil-A in Polaris. I live at home and commute here. It's about a 40 minute drive but I'm already getting used to it. I've played golf since for as long as I can remember. I also enjoy many water sport activities that include: Wake boarding, Skiing, and swimming, swimming isn't much a competition though. I'm more of an outdoors person but not much is gonna stop me from a day on the couch with my dog.

This is me at my old job before I got fired LOL

     I think isolation is a common theme in the chapters as of right now. It seems like she has no friends, she even says something similar to the fact she doesn't like to hangout with her brothers because they're boys and she doesn't hangout with her younger sister Nenny because she's too young. In the chapter Our Good Day she is offered to pay five dollars to have a friend forever. It states, "If you give me five dollars I will be your friend forever. That's what the little one tells me." It's actually a pretty sad story as of right now, But I think this is an important sentence because in my opinion if someone is having you pay money to be your friend then that's the lowest you can get on the social level.
