Hi! I am Keaton Hipsher my major is biology. One day I hope to become a pharmacist and own Marion Prescription here in Marion Ohio. Some fun facts about me is that I am a huge LeBron James Fan, also I love basketball the sport in general because I grew up playing it and I just gained a love for the game. Also I am into collecting all types of shoes, so each day for sure you will see me in a different pair. Plus I am a huge hangout with your friends type of person and going to party with them and just simply have a good time with them. I would like to say I am a big traveler I was barely home this summer which was very nice (if you are from Marion you know why Im saying that)!

Well in the reading of The House On Mango Street the theme that stood out to me the most is Dream/Dreaming. Why I say that is because she is trying to dream of a lot of stuff that she wishes that was in her life. So therefore one of my favorite passages from the reading is "Someday I will have a best friend all my own. One I can tell my secrets to. One who will understand my jokes without my having to explain them." which goes with my theme I see so far in a way.
Keaton, I did not notice your shoes in class but now I am going to look for them more ha ha! I think your love of travel holds a lot of hopes and dreams too, and that sense of yearning I have spoken of that is central to Esperanza's voice in the book. I have come to love this character and her dreams over many readings of the book. I hope you guys ending up feeling some of the same connections and the hope for a friend we can trust and share our experience with is something we all have probably wised for as well.
