Journal 8 Chas M.

I want to say that Lee Buono the neurosurgeon and his eighth grade teacher, Al Siedlecki really stood out the most. I think it meant the most to me because they found their callings through each other. Even though that this connection was made years later when they both had aged a bit. They both made with clear in the book when they said, "That's something that you gave back. I'm so happy that I had you as a student. Lee: Are you kidding me? You changed my life!" (Isay 181) This shows that they both found the meaning of their professions through each other.
I would say that my best personal connection to the book is the relationship that most people in this book have with their influencers. I would say that my parents are my biggest influencers but I defiantly wouldn't have gone into business and finance without my dad pushing to learn more.

  3. I have to agree with you as well because all my family are influencers in my life. I would not be where I am today if it wasnt for them.

  4. I also like this profile because of the relationship between the teacher and his student years later, I like how they both impacted each other.
