     One thing that meant the most to me today when I was reading, was the profile about the two sanitation workers. Why I say that is because my Dad works for The City of Marion. When he first started off he worked in the sanitation department as well. When they said "And the kids, when they hear the truck coming down the block, they'll be running to the window"(Isay, 126). I connected to that because my dad would tell stories of kids coming up to him. My dad would ask them if they wanted to do the levers to compact the trash in the back of the truck. My dad also bought this little boy an orange shirt and got the City of Marion logo put on the shirt for him to wear. When my dad would get on the little boys street he would come out with his work gloves and the orange shirt my dad got him to help my dad and his co-worker. There was a lady that would make them homemade cinnamon rolls and have a table set up for them in her driveway. There was a little kid that wrote him a note with the help of his mom saying how much he liked the trash truck and looked for to trash day every week. My dad met so many wonderful people who looked forward to seeing the trash man. It made his day a little brighter with each person.
   
     One vocab word on page 90 "Sharecroppers". Sharecroppers is a tenant farmer who gives a part of each crop as rent. One question I had was in the profile of the actor Ricardo Pitts-Wily. I asked what were the biggest acts you have did? He was in the movie "Housesitter" in 1992, also he was in the movie "Detroit" in 2017.
